COMPANY NEWS SuprCivil has begun Beta Testing SuprCivil began beta testing earlier this month in South Dakota. SuprCivil is intended to serve the needs of law enforcement agencies in their civil paper processing. The application should be available for installation by October 2000. (8/26/00) Justice and SQL CAD pass Beta Testing Justice and SQL CAD have completed beta testing in Oregon. Both applications are based upon N-Tier architecture and Microsoft's SQL Server databases. These programs represent the latest in technological advances in information technologies. SQL Server based applications are intended to meet the needs of larger agencies. (8/26/00) Price Reduction for Access Based Applications CMI is pleased to announced a general price reduction in its line of Access based applications. Applications covered by this price reduction include; SuprCLEM, SuprCAD, SuprJIMS, SuprCivil, and SuprFDMS. This price reduction reflects CMI's commitment to providing cost effective software solutions to small to medium sized agencies. (8/01/00) CMI will be attending the Wyoming Peace Officer's Conference Thomas Muschamp and Nels Christenson will be representing CMI at the Wyoming Peace Officer's Conference in Riverton September 12-15, 2000. Our SQL Server based applications will be displayed publicly for the first time. We hope to see you there! (8/01/00) Records management interface for mobile terminals Input on screen formats and features is being sought from the field. We are hoping to get input from small to medium sized law enforcement agencies across the country. The goal of this project is to provide a mobile solution that allows fast access to critical information while remaining cost effective. Interested parties may review the proposed screen shots and then offer their comments by calling Tom Muschamp at 888-257-7777. The finished application will provide remote database access on a real-time basis. It has been a long time coming, but it is finally here. (7/26/00) Congratulations to Eugene Chuvyrov on becoming certified as a MCSD Eugene has recently become a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD). The certification is in further recognition of his expertise in software development. (7/26/00) SuprFDMS is ready to ship CMI has just completed field testing of its Windows-based fire data records management system. This application is truly 32-bit and was designed around Microsoft's Access, as well as being NFIRS 5.0 compliant. Highlights of the product include a redesigned graphical user interface, dynamic report writing, and advance search capabilities. (7/02/00) New records mangement system begins Beta Testing Justice, CMI's latest product is scheduled for Beta Testing in June. This application is based on Microsoft's SQL Server 7.0 and is intended for larger law enforcement agencies running a NT/Novell network. Justice represents a new type of records mangement application, built entirly around N-Tier architechture. This technology will enable users of Justice more robust features and a decrease in their network traffic. CMI has redesigned it's Homepage CMI's new homepage has been redesigned to provide information about CMI in a more effiecient manner. CMI appreciates the comments provided by our clients and friends. Thanks! Development site for the client/server version of SuprFDMS has been selected Development of a records management application for larger fire/rescue agencies will begin August 2000. The application will be written for Windows 2000 and utilize SQL Server as its database. Three other agencies have already agreed to Beta Test the application upon completion of the conceptual and developmental phases. The project is targeted for completion by December 2000. New client/server version of our computer assisted dispatch system is underway Progress on the new CAD system has been positive. This application should be ready for Beta Testing by the end of June 2000. The first Beta Test site will be in Oregon, along with Justice. The CAD application will utilize SQL Server as its database and incorporate N-Tier architecture in its construction. This technology creates a stable application with more robust features and a decrease in network traffic. Congratulations to Eugene Chuvyrov on becoming certified as a MCP Eugene is CMI's newest Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). This certification is in recognition of his understanding and ability to utilize the latest technologies in software development. He works as a programmer in our home office and is currently on-assignment in the field. |
